Why i built wemissyou.ai

Why having to juggle 6 different tools caused me to create wemissyou.ai

This started with one old photo and me wanting to bring it back to life. I figured it'd be a quick weekend project. It was not.

To do it properly I ended up juggling about six different tools, working out how to get each one to behave, fixing all the junk they spat out, and redoing it over and over until it finally looked right. What I thought would take an evening took weeks.

I got there in the end, but the whole thing was a slog. Way too fiddly, way too slow, and not something most people would ever want to sit down and figure out.

So I built wemissyou.ai to skip all that. You upload a photo of someone, or some pet, you miss, and it handles the hard part. It restores the image and turns it into something for the days that matter, like a letter for a birthday or a few words for an anniversary. No tool-wrangling, no learning curve.

That's pretty much it. Give it a go and let me know what you think.
